Terms and conditions

These are the terms on which My Static Caravan Ltd sells static caravans and lodges, and the terms on which you may use mystaticcaravan.co.uk. A sale is made on our Terms and Conditions, Version 7, 24 September 2026, set out in full below and read together with your Sales Invoice and any written Order Confirmation. If you want to know about cancelling, refunds or a problem on delivery, the next section answers that first.

You can reach us on 0333 577 0020 or at sales@mystaticcaravan.co.uk. How we handle your personal information is set out separately in our privacy policy.

Returns, refunds and cancellation

This section summarises what our Terms and Conditions say about changing your mind, refunds and problems with a caravan. The full wording is in sections 3, 4, 6 and 7 below, and it is the full wording that applies.

Cancelling within 24 hours. Once your deposit has cleared, you can cancel by emailing sales@mystaticcaravan.co.uk within 24 hours and receive a full refund of the deposit, unless you asked us to start work or transport straight away (clause 3.2).

Cancelling after 24 hours. If you cancel after the 24-hour goodwill period, we may keep or deduct from the deposit only the reasonable costs and losses the cancellation has caused us. These may include transport costs committed to a contractor, preparation, valeting, inspections, movement orders, advertising changes and reasonable storage costs. We will explain any deduction if you ask (clause 3.3).

Your legal rights come first. Nothing in our terms removes or limits any legal right you have to cancel or to a refund. Where you have a legal right to cancel, that right takes priority over our goodwill policy (clause 3.4).

Damage on delivery. Inspect the caravan with the driver before you sign the delivery record. Raise any damage you can see with the driver straight away, make sure it is noted on the delivery record, and report it to us in writing, with photographs or video, within 24 hours. If you have any concern, do not sign to confirm that the caravan is in good condition. This does not affect your legal rights (clause 4.5).

Faults covered by our warranty. A caravan you buy from us comes with our one-month voluntary warranty from delivery on the boiler, cooker or hob, fire and central-heating system, where fitted. What it does not cover is in section 6. The warranty is in addition to your legal rights, including your rights if a caravan is not as described or not of satisfactory quality (clauses 6.1 to 6.4).

If we cannot supply your caravan. If an event outside our reasonable control stops us supplying it, we will contact you as soon as we reasonably can. If the sale cannot be completed, either of us may cancel the order, and we will refund what you have paid for anything not supplied, less any lawful deduction for work already done at your express request (clause 7.2).

How to contact us about any of this. Email sales@mystaticcaravan.co.uk or ring 0333 577 0020.

Terms and Conditions of sale

My Static Caravan Ltd, company number 14134959. Registered office: 14A Albany Road, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 9TH. Terms and Conditions, Version 7, 24 September 2026.

These Terms and Conditions apply to the sale, supply, delivery and, where agreed, siting of static caravans and lodges by My Static Caravan Ltd. Please read them carefully before placing an order. They should be read together with the Sales Invoice and any written Order Confirmation.

1. Definitions and contract parties

1.1 Buyer means the person or business named on the Sales Invoice.

1.2 Company means My Static Caravan Ltd, company number 14134959, referred to in these Terms as "we", "us" and "our".

1.3 Unit means the particular static caravan, lodge or other unit identified on the Sales Invoice.

1.4 Authorised contact. We will deal with the Buyer named on the Sales Invoice. We may communicate with another person only where the Buyer has given us written authority to do so.

2. Quotes, orders and payment

2.1 Written agreement. Quotes, order details, specifications, prices, delivery arrangements and any changes must be agreed or confirmed in writing. We will confirm any verbal discussion in writing.

2.2 Order acceptance. An order is accepted only when we issue a written Order Confirmation or Sales Invoice and receive the agreed deposit or payment.

2.3 Payment dates. The Buyer must make payments by the dates shown on the Sales Invoice. Late payment may delay preparation, transport or delivery of the Unit.

2.4 Payment methods. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment must be made by bank transfer. We do not accept cheques.

2.5 Cash payments. As a Company policy, we do not accept cash payments totalling more than £8,000 for a transaction. Where cash is accepted, we may require suitable identification and evidence of source of funds before accepting payment.

3. Deposits, cancellations and refunds

3.1 Deposit amount. The deposit and any pre-booked transport charge are shown on the Sales Invoice. A deposit may commonly be 50% of the sales value plus pre-booked transport costs, but a different amount may be agreed in writing by a director.

3.2 24-hour goodwill period. Once cleared funds have been received, the Buyer may cancel by emailing sales@mystaticcaravan.co.uk within 24 hours and receive a full refund of the deposit, unless work or transport has been expressly requested to begin immediately.

3.3 Cancellation after 24 hours. If the Buyer cancels after the 24-hour goodwill period, we may retain or deduct from the deposit only reasonable costs and losses incurred because of the cancellation. These may include transport costs committed to a contractor, preparation, valeting, inspections, movement orders, advertising changes and reasonable storage costs. We will provide an explanation of deductions on request.

3.4 Statutory cancellation rights. Nothing in this section removes or limits any statutory cancellation or refund rights that apply to the Buyer. Where the Buyer has a legal right to cancel, that right takes priority over this goodwill policy.

4. Transport, delivery and access

4.1 Delivery date. Any delivery date is an estimate unless we expressly agree a fixed delivery date in writing. We will use reasonable care and skill to meet agreed arrangements, but are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.

4.2 Delivery scope. Where delivery is arranged through one of our approved contractors, it will normally be roadside kerb-to-kerb. If a suitable area is available, the contractor may offload the Unit into that area only where the delivery vehicle can safely enter, manoeuvre, offload and leave without risk to the vehicle, the Unit, people or property.

4.3 Access information. The Buyer must provide accurate access information, photographs and a clear video of the full access route and delivery point before delivery, including narrow roads, low branches, tight turns, gates, parked vehicles, weight or height restrictions, soft ground and overhead cables.

4.4 Access failure. If delivery cannot proceed because the site is not safely accessible or relevant restrictions were not disclosed, the Buyer may be responsible for reasonable additional transport, abortive journey, storage and re-delivery costs. This does not apply where the issue is caused by us or our transport provider.

4.5 Safety and delivery inspection. The driver or transport provider may refuse, delay or stop loading, unloading or delivery where they reasonably consider it unsafe. The Buyer should inspect the Unit with the driver before signing a delivery record. Any visible damage must be raised with the driver immediately, noted on the delivery record, and reported to us in writing with photographs or video within 24 hours. The Buyer should not sign to confirm good condition if they have any concern. This process does not affect the Buyer's statutory rights.

4.6 Third-party arrangements. The Buyer is responsible for their own arrangements and costs for accommodation, contractors, siting teams, storage, sale of a current home or other related arrangements. We are not liable for those costs where a delay is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Siting, connections and commissioning

5.1 Siting. Unless expressly included on the Sales Invoice, siting, levelling, anchoring and connection work are not included in the sale or delivery price and are the Buyer's responsibility.

5.2 Qualified installation. All gas, electrical and water connections must be completed safely and in accordance with applicable laws and standards. Gas work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Electrical work must be carried out by a competent qualified electrician.

5.3 Commissioning. Where applicable, the boiler, cooker, fire, gas supply, electrical system and water connections must be installed, connected, tested and commissioned by suitably qualified professionals before use.

5.4 Evidence. We may ask for copies of commissioning records, test certificates, invoices or other evidence of professional installation when handling a warranty claim.

6. Warranty and statutory rights

6.1 Voluntary warranty. Subject to these Terms and the Sales Invoice, we provide a one-month voluntary warranty from delivery on the boiler, cooker or hob, fire and central-heating system, where fitted.

6.2 What is not covered. The voluntary warranty does not cover exterior or interior walls, windows, doors, roof, floor, furniture, bathroom furniture, insulation, radiators, cosmetic condition, routine maintenance, consumable items, or fridge/freezers unless the Sales Invoice expressly states otherwise.

6.3 Installation-related claims. Our voluntary warranty will not cover faults, damage or safety issues caused by incorrect installation, connection, commissioning, alteration, inadequate maintenance or misuse. This includes a failure to have gas work completed by a Gas Safe registered engineer or electrical work completed by a competent qualified electrician.

6.4 Statutory rights. This voluntary warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, the Buyer's statutory rights. In particular, it does not remove rights that may apply where the Unit is not as described, is not of satisfactory quality, or does not meet other legal requirements.

7. Liability

7.1 Care and responsibility. We are responsible for loss or damage to the Unit caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, our negligence, or our breach of contract. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow us to do so.

7.2 Events outside our control. If we are unable to supply the Unit because of an event outside our reasonable control, we will contact the Buyer as soon as reasonably possible. If supply cannot be completed, either party may cancel the affected order and we will refund payments for goods or services that have not been supplied, subject to any lawful deduction for work already carried out at the Buyer's express request.

8. Future value

8.1 No value guarantee. We do not guarantee the future resale value, trade value or suitability for a particular future use of the Unit.

9. Changes to these Terms

9.1 Future orders only. We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version in force when the Buyer's order is accepted will apply to that order unless both parties agree a change in writing.

10. General

10.1 Entire agreement. The Sales Invoice, Order Confirmation and these Terms form the agreement between the Buyer and us. Any changes must be agreed in writing.

10.2 Law and jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

11. Acceptance

By signing the Sales Invoice, paying a deposit, or otherwise confirming the order in writing, the Buyer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Using this website

These are the terms on which you may use mystaticcaravan.co.uk. By using the site you agree to them, and if you do not agree to any part of them, please do not use it. The site is operated by My Static Caravan Ltd of Rear Yard, Ash View Farm, Roman Road, Babcary, Somerset, TA11 7DS. They were first published on 14 November 2023 and last updated on 25 October 2026, when our Terms and Conditions of sale were added to this page. They apply to every visitor to the site.

What this site is

This site advertises static caravans, lodges and annexes for sale. It is a shop window, not a shop. Nothing on it is an offer you can accept online: there is no checkout, no basket and no way to pay through the site. A sale is agreed with us directly, by phone, by email or in person, on our Terms and Conditions of sale above.

Viewings are by appointment. Please ring or send an enquiry before travelling to us.

What we say about a caravan

We describe our stock as accurately as we can, and we would rather tell you about a fault than have you find it. Specifications, measurements, photographs and prices are given in good faith and are correct as far as we know when they are published.

Even so, please treat them as a description rather than a guarantee. Stock changes, prices change, and a caravan advertised here may already be under offer or sold. Availability is confirmed when you speak to us, and the details that matter to you should be checked before you commit. This does not affect your rights if a caravan you buy is not as described.

Nothing on this site is advice about planning permission, site licensing or what a caravan may legally be used for where you intend to put it. We are glad to tell you what we know from experience, but the only answer that counts is your local planning authority's.

Sending us a caravan to sell

If you use the form on this site to ask us to value your caravan, or to offer it for sale through us, these terms apply to what you send.

By sending us details and photographs, you confirm that the caravan is yours to sell, that what you have told us is true as far as you know, and that the photographs are yours to give us. You give us permission to publish them on this site and to use them to advertise the caravan, and you can withdraw that permission by telling us.

We decide what goes on the site. We are under no obligation to publish anything you send us, we may edit a description before it is published, and we may take a listing down at any time.

If we do publish your caravan, it appears as one of our listings. Your name, email address, phone number and the location of the caravan are never shown to visitors.

Sending us a caravan is not a sale. Any sale, and any commission or terms attached to it, is agreed separately between you and us.

Using the site properly

Please use the site for its purpose. Do not attempt to interfere with it, gain access to parts of it that are not public, submit anything unlawful or misleading, or use automated tools to harvest its content.

We may withdraw or suspend access to the site immediately, without notice, for any reason — including if you breach these terms. Any part of these terms that should by its nature survive that, does.

Our content

The text, photographs, layout and design of this site belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to look at the site, print a page and share a link to a caravan. Please do not republish our listings or our photographs elsewhere without asking us first.

Open source software this site uses

Parts of this site are built with software other people wrote and gave away, and their licences ask us to say so here.

The video on our listings — both the walkthroughs we film and the photo tours the site puts together from our photographs — is encoded with FFmpeg, which is used unchanged and is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later. FFmpeg is a separate program that this site runs; it is not part of our own code, and nothing about its licence applies to the rest of this site.

If you would like the source code for the version of FFmpeg we use, you are entitled to it and we will send it to you. Write to us at sales@mystaticcaravan.co.uk, and we will pass the request to the people who look after this site for us. You do not need to be a customer and you do not need to give a reason. The full offer, the licence text and the exact version we use travel with the site itself, in a folder called ffmpeg-licence.

This software is based in part on the work of the Independent JPEG Group.

Links to other sites

The site may link to sites and services we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or anything you do there, and we are not liable for any loss caused by relying on them. Please read the terms and privacy notices of any site you visit.

Availability, and the limits of what we promise

We try to keep this site up to date and available, but we provide it as it is and as it is available. We do not promise that it will always work, that it will be free of errors, or that it will suit any particular purpose, and we exclude implied warranties to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by anything written here.

The law that applies

These website terms, like our Terms and Conditions of sale, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

If we do not enforce a right or provision, that is not a waiver of it. If a court finds any provision invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These website terms are the whole agreement between us about your use of this site, and replace anything said before it. A sale is governed by our Terms and Conditions of sale above.

Changes to these website terms

We may change these website terms. If a change is significant we will try to give at least thirty days' notice on this page before it takes effect, and the date above will change. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. A change to our Terms and Conditions of sale applies only to orders accepted after it, unless we both agree a change in writing, as clause 9.1 says.
